Bathurst is also referred to as the Gold Country, as it claims to be the first site of gold discovery where the first gold rush occurred.
Today, Bathurst is better known for the world famous motor racing circuit, Mount Panorama, home to Bathurst 1000, the V8 Supercar Race held every year in October.
From Sydney via Great Western Highway: Follow Great Western Highway into Bathurst Town Centre. Turn right into Rankin Street. After 250m, turn left onto Morrisset Street and left again into Bathurst Apartments driveway.
Bathurst Train Station is 2km from Bathurst Apartments. Australia Wide Coaches operates a daily coach service to and from Sydney.
